Camping weekend - do as much or little as you wish!

Join us for a weekend of back to basics camping in Staffordshire.
The small, secluded eco-campsite is set within 12 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow overlooking the beautiful Churnet Valley.

We will have our own private camping area, with firepit, within the wildflower meadow itself, perfect for getting away from it all. The campsite is a great base from which to explore the surrounding countryside by foot.

On the Saturday we will take a relatively easy walk through the Churnet Valley and nearby Dimmingsdale woodlands. Approximately 10 miles in total, we will stop half way round for a pub lunch by the riverside.

There’s also the possibility, for those who’d prefer a more relaxed weekend, to simply chill at the campsite (hopefully in the sun!).

Facilities

Facilities on the campsite are limited, but perfectly satisfactory. The shared facilities include a compost toilet (yes, this is really an eco camp), a new gas-powered outdoor shower and washing up facilities.

If your looking for glamping level comfort, this campsite may not be for you. However, if you're looking for a back to nature, off the beaten track adventure, then this event is for you!

Firepit: We will have our own firepit, so please feel free to bring some logs - and don’t forget the marshmallows!

Environment: The owners of this campsite are wholeheartedly committed to a sustainable and eco-friendly way of life, so consideration of this should be given by the group.

Dogs: This campsite does not allow dogs sadly.

Campervans: These are accepted, and can be driven into the campsite in fine weather.

Caravans & Motorhomes: Are not accepted.
