Annual General Meeting 2022

Join the Board of Trustees on Zoom as we conduct our AGM - this is our Annual General Meeting and opportunity for all members to hear what OutdoorLads has done in this last year as we continue to recover from the Covid pandemic, and what lies ahead of us.
The AGM this year will also mark the official launch of OutdoorLads new strategy and what this means for the future.
The meeting will be hosted on Zoom on a Monday evening as we've found this is when people seem to have best availability. It also helps to keep those precious September weekends free for outdoors events rather than AGM's!
Details of how to access the meeting are listed in the "location" section below.
The agenda will include: a round-up from our outgoing Chair, Matt Tennant; an update from our Trustee for Leaders, Danny Ballantyne; and a summary of our financial position from our treasurer, Niels Pedersen. There will also be updates from your other trustees and co-opted board members: Danny McKeown-Henshall, Emma Green, Richard Overton, Joey Payne, Steven Allan, David Banks, Fergus Brunning, Gavin Bridge and Simon Hawthorn. So, plenty to keep you entertained for a Monday evening!
Before the meeting we will make available all supporting information such as our annual accounts, manifestos for any trustees seeking election and other important news so watch out for that, and prepare any questions you may have as a result.
This year's AGM will also consider the new five year strategy for the group, which will be discussed. You can find out all the details on the strategy and the communications we have sent out here.
We really hope you can join us - we require 100 members to attend the meeting so that we are quorate. This is the minimum limit that our constitution allows for formal business to be conducted. So please join us and be part of YOUR charity at this important time. (Note that all members are able to attend, but only full and concession members count towards the quoracy and have a vote. PAYG members do not have a vote, in line with our constitution.)
Papers for the meeting are available here.

What to bring
Be ready with any questions you might have on any of the supporting documents. If possible, you can email support@outdoorlads.com in advance with your question, this will ensure a more thorough answer and equally this can be useful if you prefer not to ask the question at the AGM itself.
Food & drink
Hopefully you will have had your dinner before the meeting but you are welcome to raise a drink with us - whatever your tipple may be!
