This is a circular walk starting and finishing at Amersham Station, approximately 9.5 miles in length.

The route is a mixture of undulating fields and valley pathway, with two short but sharp ascents (and corresponding descents).

The route will take us through Parsonage Wood downhill to Amersham Old Town passing through the historic Market Place.  Turning in a north-westerly direction, we follow the path to cross the A413 and travel adjacent to a small lake fed by the River Misbourne. Continuing in a north-westerly direction, we arrive at the beautiful village of Little Missenden where there will be a chance for a drink at the Crown Inn.

We then head south up a steady incline through Haleacre Wood to Holmer Green, the highest point on our route which should offer some excellent views across the Chiltern Hills depending on the weather.

We then head east back to Amersham Old Town, with a final short ascent to get back to the finish point at Amersham station.
