A road and Gravel cycle through Whitelee wind farm.
Join us on this adventure into the unknown!
From Newton Mearns we have a 10 km road/cycle route that takes us to the works entrance of the wind farm. From there I will lead you through the maze that is Whitelee wind farm. With a few Hail Mary's and the rub of the odd dead rabbits foot we shall hopefully emerge unscathed at Ardochrig Road. If we haven't been eaten by the bears (Ursidae) we shall stop at Auldhouse for a break.
I decided to start this event on the South side of Glasgow, as the car park at Whitelee is often full on a Saturday. If anyone prefers to park there just message me and we can meet up.
The route is shown below, and is a rough guide.
