Note: Please add yourself to the waiting list if you want to come. Places often become available in the week leading up to the walk. Join Andrew for this fabulous spring walk starting from the interesting Cotswold town of Tetbury with its many fine buildings and continuing through a typical Cotswold landscape to reach the National Aboretum at Westonbirt. From here the route follows the Monarch's Way back to Tetbury passing close by Prince Charles' Highgrove House. Please note that the walk does not include a visit to the National Aboretum itself as there is a General Admission charge. At the end of the walk there will be the option of a drink at one of Tetbury's many charming pubs.
Dogs are welcome to join us on this event but we do ask the following:
Please appreciate the fact that not everyone is a dog owner or lover- especially when we stop to eat
Please ensure you adhere to the Countryside Code at all times - see (Keeping Dogs Under Effective Control)
If your dog is uncontrolled and strays in open land frightening other animals or livestock, the leader is supported by the OutdoorLads board of trustees to ask you to leave the event as this is not acceptable behaviour
We cannot guarantee that this route is dog friendly - there may be styles to carry your dog across.
Your dog needs to have the stamina to keep up with the group. This may be an issue on hot days.

What to bring
Walking boots and a waterproof coat will be essential for this walk. Make sensible decisions about other clothes: trousers, hats etc depending on the weather. Denim trousers are not advisable especially if it is rainy.
Food & drink
Everyone will need to bring a packed lunch as there will not be any shops on the way. There are shops in Tetbury at the start of the walk, so purchasing food here should be easy but please allow time to do this. There is an optional pub stop in Tetbury at the end of the walk.
