South Midweek Walk 2022 - Shoreham Coastal Caper Linear
5 people attending
5 places left
Join Justin and Matt on this Linear walk, heading down to the coast from East Worthing and along to Shoreham. We may walk part of it along the sand if the tide is out, so wear shoes you don't mind getting sandy. We will pass the Brooklands Pleasure Park and along the front until the coastal path leaves the A259 at Lancing. From here we remain a few 100m from the road passing Widewater Lagoon until entering Shoreham Beach development when we reach roads again. If time allows we can walk along the length of shoreham Beach to the Old Fort though usually by this point we are late! We will cross the footbridge into Shoreham-by-sea.
The Walk will finish once we cross the footbridge and if necessary you can get a train back to our East Worthing start. We will then head for The Bridge in Shoreham for some well earned food and drink. Then to the train station to go home or to get back to the start at East Worthing to pick up any cars.
Check out other mid week walks in the area by searching on "South Midweek Walk 2022" - Note this year the majority of walks are on Tuesdays not Wednesdays as previous years.
