Saunter to Soho - Highgate, Hampstead Heath and the Royal Parks

Never been on an ODL event before, or want to catch up with guys from past events, then why not join Chris on this gentle (mainly) downhill wander from Highgate and into Soho??
Starting from Highgate Tube station we'll head through the hallowed Cemetery, through Hampstead Heath onto Parliament Hill and take in the London skyline from a distance. From there we'll walk down through the Royal Parks, with a bit of touristing, monument and spring flower spotting before heading into Soho and joining the ODL social in Comptons on Old Compton Street.
The walk is an easy pace for 9 miles and will take us about 3.5 / 4 hours. You don't need any special equipment just trainers you don't mind getting a bit muddy and coat to keep the rain off.

Food & drink
Plan to have lunch before we set off, but you might like to bring something to snack on and a drink. There are plenty of cafes (we'll stop half way for tea and cake) and shops along the way to pick stuff up.
