Treasure trail is 1 mile, with some steep hills.

Join us on the 3rd of this year's social treasure trails - a great way to explore a picturesque town or piece of coast.

Come and visit the historic and picturesque town of Rye.

Explore Rye on this self-guided Murder Mystery themed Treasure Trail. As you follow the Trail route, can you solve the sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features and monuments to eliminate the suspects to discover whodunit?

The Trail starts at the river outside the Heritage Centre and takes you through the ancient streets of this delightful medieval town. The route leads you up to the Ypres Tower and past scenic viewpoints, taking in several historic buildings and monuments before returning to the riverside

Teams will be randomly selected on the day.

Entry fee of £2 per person to cover cost of the prizes payable on the day.

After the treasure trail, we will meet in Fletcher's House Tea room for afternoon tea - www.fletchershouse.co.uk

They are offering a group discount of £4 per person for a scone, jam, clotted cream and tea, or you can choose something different from the menu at the normal menu price.

Owen has kindly offered to put on a leisurely walk prior to the treasure trail, leaving Rye station at 11am sharp. If you are interested in attending, please just turn up. See details below.

Once everyone has returned the winner will be announced with a little team prize giving ceremony.

Then why not explore more of the town before returning home?
