Join us for a late summer camping event on the East Sussex/Kent border just 2-3 hours from London, Chelmsford, Margate and Brighton. The campsite is adjacent the Kent & East Sussex Railway and short distance away from Bodiam Castle and perfectly placed between 1066 country and the Weald of Kent.

1066 Country is now recognised throughout the world as a leading brand of historical significance.  The thriving market town of Battle is home to the very spot where King Harold fell during the fateful conflict.

The Weald of Kent is an area in the county of Kent (the so-called ‘Garden of England’). The name ‘weald’ is Old English in origin and signifies woodland, but today the name refers to an area of villages & towns rich in history, culture and picturesque countryside.

There is a toilet & shower block with free hot showers.

Dogs :OutdoorDogs are very welcome on this event when accompanied by responsible OutdoorLads.

Caravans, Campervans, Motorhomes, Trailertents: The site welcomes tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes, but they will not be able to be pitched with the rest of our group, and are subject to availability and at additional cost. Please contact the OutdoorLads office who will enquire for you.
