A 12 mile circular walk on the edge of the North York Moors, taking in the iconic 'mountain' of Roseberry Topping, locally known as Teesside's Matterhorn. Including quiet country lanes, open moorland, Guisborough Forest, and Captain Cook's Monument, making use of part of the Cleveland Way, this mid-summer walk should offer a grand day out!
This will be great terrain to see various moorland birds, especially curlew and lapwing.
