This is a 'Fast Track Learn to Nordic Walk' day event that also leads to a free Nordic Walk Passport (see below)

What is Nordic Walking?

Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. It's rapidly growing in popularity as a way to keep fit, so could be a great addition to your normal hiking outings.

What the day involves:

9.30am:    Arrival

10.00am:  Morning Fast Track Nordic Walking tuition

1.00pm:    Break for lunch at The Manifold Café, Ilam.
