New Forest Adventure Hostel

Located in the heart of the New Forest, the village of Brockenhurst has had a settlement present for over 3,500 years! Ancient Roman tumuli, medieval churches, hiking and biking routes and "Britain's Most Beautiful Place to Live" (according the one of the UK's leading estate agents) make Brockenhurst a perfect weekend base.
OutdoorLads returns to the New Forest and our bunkhouse is just a 15 minute walk from the train station and village. The accommodations include two large dormitories and smaller bed rooms, as well as a large area for socialising and fully equipped kitchen. All beds are single bunk, and there is one 2 bed fully accessible en-suite. The entire Bunkhouse is fully accessible; however some of the activities may not be suitable if attendees have accessibility requirements - please contact the Event Leaders to discuss options.
As for the weekend plans:
On Friday evening, plan on arriving after 16:30 to get settled in, then socialise during the usual "bring and share" buffet (please bring something to serve 2-3 people). Catch up with old friends and make new ones!
After the included Saturday breakfast, we will venture into the New Forest on this little leg stretcher:
https://www.komoot.com/tour/928949112?share_token=aft8lDU5ciCNn1SkZCjeD… - you may want gaiters as there is a stretch that could be bit boggy!
Options for lunch include bringing something from the hostel or popping into one of the shops in the village (Tesco Express, Rosie Lea Bakery, or the 200 year old, multi-award winning Bakehouse).
Saturday dinner (which is included in the cost) will be the traditional 3 course dinner (with maybe some American surprises!!!). There may even be a birthday celebration or two!!
Sunday morning (after the included breakfast) there may be time for a short hike or bike as well as the usual team event of hostel cleaning!!
For those looking for a quieter weekend, there is plenty of room to socialise or explore the village.
