Flat walk, but good distance to cover in a short day

At OutdoorLads we are aware that going on your first event can be daunting. We are supporting recent joiners by inviting ten of you to join us on a social stroll through London. It's the perfect opportunity to meet fellow new starters and established members. That first step may be hard but we know it often leads to making new friends for life.

If you enjoy the walk stay with us for our Christmas Social upstairs at Comptons.

A leisurely 11km circular stroll around four of London's Royal Parks: Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Green Park and St James' Park and on to Christmas.

We'll endeavour to see all the sights along the way, including including The Italian Fountains, Kensington Palace, The Albert Memorial, The Albert Hall, The Serpentine Gallery, The Serpentine, The Diana Memorial Fountain, The Rose Garden, Hyde Park Corner, The War Memorials, The Wellington Arch, 1 London, Buckingham Palace, Horseguards' Parade, The Serpentine Magazine Gallery and the Peter Pan statue.

There are plenty of cafes, coffee stalls and ice cream opportunities on the way around.

If you need to cut the walk short, there are plenty of options to do so and find public transport connections (pretty much at any point), but if you stay the whole route then we can head to Comptons for the Christmas Social afterwards.
