Day walk from Skipton Train Station through the woods to Embsay moor, big walk across the moor then back to the Crag. Returning across fields back to Skipton for a pint

Leaving the train station we will be walking along the Leeds Liverpool canal into Skipton . Along the High St on a Market Day so be prepared to dodge other tourists. Leaving the High Street we will walk along a wooden walk way taking in views of the Skipton Castle into Skipton Woods. Leaving the woods we will head across the golf course (FOUR!!), down a country lane towards Embsay. Leaving Embsay , head up past the Embsay Reservoir up to a steep climb on to the moor. Then a circular walk across the moor before heading back via the crag. . Then taking a 'footpath' across (lama's on the left)  farmers fields until heading back towards Skipton to a pub.  It's a grand walk and a bit long. See you then
