Digley Reservoir, The Holme Valley and Good Bent End

We will meet at 1030hrs at the entrance to the Digley Reservoir Car Park in Holmfirth. This walk will take in the areas around Digley Reservoir and The Holme Valley, Good Bent End, Brownhill and Ramsden Reservoir and into the outskirts of Holmfirth. We won't be going into the centre of the town.

The walk will follow the moorland around the top of Digley Reservoir and up onto the open moors.  The walk will then drop down into the small village of Holme and follow the forest around Brownhill Reservoir and over the dam linking in Ramsden Reservoir. We will then head down into the villages of Dobb and Hinchcliffe and follow the River Holme into the outskirts of Holmfirth. 

Here we will stop at The Farmers Arms If anyone wants refreshments. Finally we head back across the fields to the starting point.

There are decent footpaths around this walk. There are several styals and walls to climb over.
