Chelmsford Pre Christmas Walk & Pub Stop

Enjoy a day off from the Christmas shopping with an all-welcome 2 mile each-way wander from Chelmsford train station out along the River Chelmer to the Fox and Raven pub for a pre-Christmas lunch time drink - then reverse back the way we came.
Bring a friend if you like, or if you're new to OutdoorLads or thinking about joining up in the new year, come along, meet some of your fellow OutdoorLads and enjoy a bit of Christmas spirit (or beer....or wine...) as we have a bit of a wander, get some fresh air and have some social time together too.
What to bring
I recommend wearing walking boots on this walk, although all this walk can be achieved in a pair of trainers it is December and conditions could be muddy in places especially alongside the river. That in mind, waterproofs might be needed and even a few layers to keep warm.
Food & drink
Drink will be available at the pub, naturally and they do serve food.
