This is one of the events organised as part of Big Spring Camp 2022.

We all love cake, right?  Well, for those who know or perhaps did not - we lost two people recently, both were very long standing and respected members of OutdoorLads.  Their loss is still felt now.

So, we thought that we would take steps to raise money over the whole event - with efforts from baking cakes (this event) to allowing donation at the till, to proceeds from Bingo and quiz night.  It is all for them.

This event though, is all about cakes, bakes, tarts, puffs....anything and everything you can bake, make and create!

Bring your entry, it is not a competition, but presentation will always get attention of the consumers.  We will charge £1 per slice, cake or whatever the portion is.  Payment by card or cash is fine.  At the end of the event, the total will be split between the following charities:

The Meningitis Research Foundation - Rob was very senior in this charity, part of the team that recently presented to and convinced the WHO of the importance of a global emergency in Meningitis.  A legacy that will be forever remembered.

Dougie Mac Hospice - On recommendation from John's husband, half the proceeds will go to this charity which was close to John.  Dougie Mac operates hospice care free of charge to thousands of people who need it.

Now, get baking and creating and lets raise a whole load of money for these wonderful charities!
