A perfect lozenge-shaped fresh-water lagoon, roughly the size of six football pitches, set in the lush, green Conwy Valley in the lee of the Snowdonia mountains - not where you'd expect to be able to surf!
What to bring
Wet suits and board hire are included in your event fee but you'll need to take a towel and a pair of shorts or swimming trunks to wear beneath your wetsuit. Wear an old pair of trainers you don't mind getting wet or wetsuit boots if you have them and ensure you have any personal medical items with you. There are lockers in the changing rooms for you to leave your clothes.
