This is a 10 mile (16 km) circular walk, starting with breakfast (optional) at the infamous Grindleford Station Cafe. From Grindleford Station we will follow a riverside path to Burbage Bridge, then a short ascent to Higger Tor.
Our route will take us across moorland to Stanage Edge before descending to the pretty village of Hathersage. We will then return along the River Derwent to Grindleford. There will be an optional pub stop at the Maynard Arms at the end of the walk.
Note: You will need cash for Grindleford Station Cafe as they do not accept card.
