Big Spring Climb - Sheffield (Endcliffe) parkrun

This is one of the events we are running in Sheffield this weekend as part of the Big Spring Climb. It also happens to be the event leader's 100th parkrun, so come along and help him celebrate! parkrun is a free, fun and friendly timed 5km run which takes place at 9:00 on Saturdays at numerous locations Worldwide, including over 1,000 in the UK.

parkrun is a positive, welcoming and inclusive experience where there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along, whether you walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.

Please see the course page for information about the route. The course is a mixture of tarmac and trails. There is a  slight incline as well as some narrow and uneven sections. If you are a regular parkrunner at other parks, don't expect to get a PB at Endcliffe.

We will meet on the paved area, where the briefings take place from about 8:40am. There is usually a briefing at around 8:50 for those who are new to parkrun or haven't run this course before. This will be followed by the main briefing.  Don't forget, you'll need to bring your barcode if you want to get an official time. After the run, if you don't have to dash off to another Big Spring Climb event, we will go for a coffee/breakfast in the park cafe or a cafe nearby.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement

You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend. 

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who has recently tested positive for Covid-19, is asked not to attend.
