BIG Halloween 2019

The village is quiet, the night is dark and the people run scared at the thought of disturbing the evil spirits within Borwick Hall.  The commander of these spirits, the evil 16th Baron of Borwick spared the lives of those who attended BIG Halloween 2018 for the party we threw, pleased him greatly. 

But the Baron especially loved the screams of those who dared to anger him by wandering the corridors alone - the fear of those in his house, is what he feeds on.  The more screams, the more he is pleased......remember that!

Borwick Hall was mentioned in the famous Domesday Book of the last millennia - ironically named you might say after the horrors the Baron has overseen in the thousands of years he has occupied the Hall.  The library contains the secret passage to his torture chamber beneath the hall - no one has seen it for centuries and survived to tell the tale so if I were you, I would not try and find it.....

Get ready for another amazing BIG weekend with OutdoorLads.  We have a line up of fantastic on and off site events including day walks, cycling, archery, climbing, high and low ropes courses and even something totally new for 2019 - Clay Pigeon Shooting.  Stay tuned for more information on these activities closer to the event.

On Saturday night, the Halloween Fancy Dress extravaganza commences after dinner - plenty of time to get dressed up in whatever horrific, outrageous, funny or downright rude fancy dress costume that you can come up with.  Of course if you don't want to dress up - you are welcome to enjoy the disco and take in the sights of everyone else.  

The OutdoorLads Bar will be on site for the whole weekend serving draught (yes....draught) lager, cider and hand pulled ale along with our extensive gin selection amongst other spirits vodka, rum etc.  We also serve wines, prosecco and soft drinks.  

Did you know you can hire our portable bar for your own events, birthdays, weddings and parties - and raise money for a charity of your choice and/or OutdoorLads at the same time. Click here for more details.

Remember - all monies raised by sales on the bar, go directly to supporting the charity.  So leave your drinks at home and enjoy a cold refreshing drink served with a cheeky smile.

Packed Lunches: New for this year, we will be offering packed lunches that will be available to collect at breakfast on Saturday for your days activities.  So leave your M&S, Tesco or home made packed lunch at home and grab an onsite lunch consisting of a sandwich, snack bar, crisps, fruit and a drink! Bedrooms:

Everyone booking onto this event is guaranteed a bed, so don't let this worry you - but if you wanted to upgrade to a twin ensuite room, or a standard twin room, you can do so for £10 or £5, respectively. Booking for these goes live at 7pm on Wednesday 9th October. You are paying for one bed (your own!) in a twin room, so if you want to share with a partner or friend, you'll both need to book the same type of room upgrade.
