You are a Pay as You Go Member - have you considered becoming a Full or Concession Member?

When you first register with us you become a Pay As You Go member and we give you with two trial coupons (they are found in the COUPONS tab under MY ACCOUNT) so that you can try one or more OutdoorLads events for free or at reduced cost .

If you decide you want to do more and get more involved, you can continue to attend as many events as you like as a Pay As You Go member........

.....but if you Upgrade to Full Membership you'll benefit from so much more:
 

  1. Free access to walks and cycling events
    (when Pay as You Go Members pay £12.50 per event)
     
  2. Lower prices on hostel and camping events
    (typically £20.00 less than the price for Pay As You Go Members for two-night events)
     
  3. Access to Early Bird discounts
    (most paid events have a further discount for Full Members when they are amongst the first people to book onto them)
     
  4. Savings on everything you buy at our retail partners, including:
  • 15% discount at Cotswold Outdoor, Snow+Rock, runnersneed and digital OrdnanceSurvey Maps subscriptions

The standard price for annual membership is £65.00 per year (or £13.00 per year if you qualify for full membership at the concession rate).

Paying for your OutdoorLads Membership by Direct Debit gives you the peace of mind that your Membership won't have expired without you realising it, as your Membership automatically renews each year until you decide to cancel the Direct Debit.

If you decide to pay by Direct Debit, please allow us the short time it takes to manually process your application and Direct Debit mandate. As soon as this is done, you will see that you will have been registered as a Full Member on your MY ACCOUNT page.

Fixed Term Membership

If you pay for your membership by Direct Debit these are the Ts&Cs

The first year discount offer, t-shirt and car sticker are only available the first time you sign up to pay your OutdoorLads annual membership by Direct Debit.

The first year discount is applied to the first payment made by Direct Debit, subsequent payments are at the standard membership price in place at the time. 

The first year discount and or the price of membership may change from time to time. 

Direct Debit payments are processed on the 1st of the month or the next working day and you will receive email confirmation from us regarding your payment plan and the date on which your annual payments will be taken. We aim to process new Direct Debit requests within 2 working days.

It is your responsibility to manage any Direct Debit payments that you set up. If you wish to cancel your Direct Debit at any time, please inform you bank. They will then advise us that you have cancelled the future payments and we will then set your Full Membership to expire at the end of the period for which you have paid. Once your Full Membership expires, you will become a Pay As You Go Member.

OutdoorLads reserves the right to withdraw any offers for joining the Direct Debit scheme at any time.

The Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.

If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit, OutdoorLads will notify you (normally 10 working days) in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

If you request us to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.

If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by the organisation or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society.

If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when the organisation asks you to.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify the organisation.

In common with other organisations, OutdoorLads will notify you of a pending Direct Debit payment if the amount of the payment is changing. If the amount is unchanged, we do not notify you of pending renewal payment.  It is your responsibility to manage and monitor your Direct Debit payments. You can download an app here which will enable you to track any or all of your Direct Debits and notify you when payments are due to be taken.
