This is a moderate 10 mile (15km) circular walk which starts at The Atom, one of Lancashire's Panopticans, following the Brontë Way along Boulsworth Hill before a steep climb to it's summit Lad Law (517m) which offers fantastic views of Pendle, the Calder Valley, the Yorkshire Dales' Three Peaks and on a very clear day Helvellyn!
Before returning via the village of Wycoller, which dates back to before the 10th Century BC and contains Wycoller Hall (believed to be 'Ferndean Manor' in Charlotte Brontë's novel Jane Eyre).
I'm leading more Lancashire events this Spring:
- Saturday 23rd April - Pendle Hill via Apronfull Day Walk
