As famous as our biggest BIG events, Winter Camp is our annual pilgrimage back to the "birthplace" of OutdoorLads.  It was here, at Great Langdale Campsite that the first informal event took place in February 2006.  Every year we return to enjoy this wonderful part of the country in the Langdale Fells nestled between mountains, tarns, forests and of course, great pubs!

Now the name should give it away but this is camping and this is winter so it is not for the faint hearted, but equally it is not out of reach of anyone.  You can be a glamper and enjoy Winter Camp all the same as a seasoned mountaineer so if you want to join us on this really important annual event for mountains, roaring fires, great pubs and hopefully some stunning winter weather then don't miss out.

Join us at Great Langdale where we enjoy great onsite facilities including a cafe serving early morning breakfast snacks and some truly great onsite showers which are free to use and heated by the onsite Biomass boiler! Truly environmentally friendly!

THIS PAGE IS TO RESERVE AND PAY FOR A CAMPING PLACE.  IF YOU PREFER THE IDEA OF A LUXURY CAMPING POD (LUXURY IN THAT IT IS INDOORS!!) THEN PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR THAT PAGE - SPACES ARE SUPER LIMITED SO BE QUICK.

Campervans/Motorhomes: These are welcome on the event, but you will have to pay an extra charge for the difference as we have only booked for tents.  Limited electric hookup is available if you need that, also at additional cost. If you don't require hookup you may be able to join us on the main field. Please contact support@outdoorlads.com if you wish to take a cravan, campervan, etc.

Dogs: These are welcome on the site, set at a maximum of two per tent/unit and an extra charge may apply from the campsite.  Please ensure you keep your dogs under control at all times as not everyone is a dog fan and it goes without saying regarding cleaning up the mess!

Photos: All event page photos were taken by the event leader, Danny McKeown-Henshall, permission for OutdoorLads to use them is duly granted.
