Most of the paths will be well maintained tow paths and pavements with one section through a copse and fields. No significant hills but a number of stairs to ascend and descend

Join us on this 9 mile Sunday walk taking in the Grand Union Canal & Great Ouse River as we wander around the countryside north of Milton Keynes

We will start our walk in Wolverton, using the path to head along the Grand Union Canal, before heading through the site of Wolverton medieval village.

Walking along side River Great Ouse we head into the village of Cosgrove for hopefully a drink at a canal side pub.

Starting our walk back to Wolverton we cross over the Iron Trunk Aqueduct which opened in 1811, allowing the Grand Union to cross 12 metres above the River Great Ouse!

We will then wander back through a number of country parks to our starting point in Wolverton!

Is it dog friendly?  Dogs are welcome but please note and abide by the Countryside Code (https://tinyurl.com/rlqvp3h) and be prepared for a couple of stiles / hills on the walk. Please also remember not everyone loves dogs as much as you do so please be mindful of other members.
