13km with 800m ascent, a moderate mountain day.

Head to the shores of Loch Tay and join OutdoorLads for a day walk along the Tarmachan Ridge taking in the Munro of Meall nan Tarmachan and subsidiary tops of Meal Garbh and Beinn nan Eachan. Depending on how we feel, there is an additional top of Creag na Caillich at 916m.

The route is circular, we start at a fairly gentle walk from the Ben Lawers car park with great viewing potential, South to Loch Tay with classically jaggy peaks all around, well worth a visit.

There is a short scramble section but, a bypass route is available. This route also wanders along a short grassy arete, seen in the event images, which is the narrowest part of the route.

Distance - 13km.

Total ascent - 800m.
