Join Mark for a day of map reading fun in the Forest of Dean, starting from Symonds Yat
The day will kick off at Symonds Yat Rock, where we'll be able to take in amazing views over South Herefordshire, Wales and the River Wye, which snakes its way through the countryside below.
We'll make our way down the side of the rock and follow the River Wye to Bibblins Bridge, a suspension bridge that connects the two sides of the Wye Valley. It's from here that the orienteering adventure will begin.
We'll split into teams, each team will have to complete three routes (to be allocated randomly) in the Highmeadow Woods.
There have a break for lunch and once we have completed the routes; we'll cross the River Wye, make our way upto Symonds Yat West and take the ferry over to Symonds Yat East (weather dependent). There will be an optional pub stop before we head back upto for one last look from Symonds Yat Rock before heading home.

What to bring

You should also consider bringing suncream and a hat.
