It's Pride season again!
Stafford is holding its inaugural Pride in Victoria Park this summer!
Come and attend this amazing day of celebration, be visible and promote OutdoorLads in the West Midlands.
Whether you like hiking, hostelling, kayaking, camping or climbing, grab your red T shirt and show your pride in being a part of this amazing organisation.
Prides are a brilliant day out! Pride is an important way to spread the OutdoorLads message to potential members as well, and to show the world what OutdoorLads is!
Come and help us make the a sea of red T shirts. (If you don't have a ODL red T shirt these can be purchased through the ODL Support team.
We have been given a stall space at the festival and would ask for your help to "man" it, promote the organisation to which we belong. Head Office will be providing some promotional items for us to give out on the day to potential new members.
If you would be willing to be part of the rota to man the stall, please drop me a message. I will compile this nearer the time. I suggest 1-2 hours each. This needs to be manned between 12pm-9pm plus setting up and taking down time.
You will need to purchase a ticket from the Pride website, although I am sure there will be on the day entry permitted also. These are £5.00 and can be purchased in advance using the link: https://staffordpride.co.uk

If there are no places left on this event, join the wait list as people frequently drop out during the week before an event and you are likely to get a place.
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.

What to bring
Wear your red ODL tee-shirt, shorts and comfortable footwear. Rainbow face paints and glitter for beards always go down well!!! ODL branded gear, ODL and/or rainbow flags would also be great.
If you don't have a red ODL shirt then the office can send one out for £10 inc P&P. Alternatively you can ask on the telegram channel to see if someone can loan you one OR come in any outdoor clothing, preferably with a red top.
Food & drink
Glass is not allowed in the park. Sealed plastic bottles or cans are permitted along with a bag.. Ensure you bring plenty of water as it can be a very long day in the sun. There will be catering and bar facilities at the festival.
PLEASE NOTE: Marshals will remove any person who is drunk (or under the influence of drugs) so please do not drink in excess before the start. Bag may also be searched on entry to the festival.
