South Midweek Walk 2022 - Hidden Petworth
6 people attending
4 places left
Join Justin and Matt for a mid-week leg-stretch in the pretty rolling meadows and woods around Petworth.
This walk is a fairly easy walk exploring countryside to the west of Petworth. We take country paths and quiet lanes to meander for around 4 miles. We will end the offical ODL event back in Petworth.
We will end the walk at the beginning then move on to somewhere nearby for a drink and meal. I'm aiming for The Angel.
Distance: 4 miles approx.
Time:1.5 hours approx
Terrain: Footpaths and quiet lanes. Some short uphill stretches.
Check out other mid week walks in the area by searching on "South Midweek Walk 2022" - Note this year the majority of walks are on Tuesdays not Wednesdays as previous years.
All photos are taken by Justinc or Matt_from_Storrington and are free to use for ODL

Sunglasses: for any sunny day, even in winter
Sun cream: can be useful even on cloudy and winter days
Snacks: bring biscuits, energy bars, gels, bananas, chocolate or dried fruit for example and put them somewhere easy to get hold of

Food & drink
Bring something to snack on to keep you going if necessary. I hope to stop at the lovely Angel Pub in Petworth, a short walk out from the centre. I was very busy last year so we have other options if not. The pub stop is at the end so if you are unable to stop at the pub, you can go home.
