Sheffield Social - Kommune

This is an easy-going evening where you can catch up with OutdoorLads you have met on previous events and make new friends. The event is open to new and existing members and their friends. If you are new to OutdoorLads, our socials are great ways to meet other members and find out more about the group.

The event will take place at Kommune near Castle Square in Sheffield city centre.

What is Kommune?

Kommune (Home - Kommune) is a social all-day dining experience that brings together independent kitchens from across the country.  It’s situated in a unique Grade II listed building.  For those who don’t know, it was the old Co-Op building (Sheffield retro: 11 photos capturing the buzz of shopping at famous Castle House Co-op in 60s, 70s and 80s (thestar.co.uk))

The Plan

We have a booking with Kommune so will have some space reserved. The bar is very large and has plenty to offer. The food options can be ordered directly with the vendor, or via the Kommune app.

Later, depending on time, we have the option to move onto pubs like The Three Tuns, Shakespeare (heading towards Kelham Island), or if the time is late then we have the The Furnace (1mile walk or short taxi ride) which opens late, and finally I’ve no doubt some in the group will be heading onto the legendary Dempseys.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement

You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
