Sevenoaks to Ivy Hatch - Kent
16 people attending
4 places left
We will walk through the pleasant residential streets of Sevenoaks past the Vine cricket ground, where seven oaks stood until the great storm of 1987, and into the National Trust Knole Park with the magnificent Knole House at its centre, still the home of the Sackville family.
From here we will walk through rolling woodland and farmland through Goddens Green and Stone Street to Ivy Hatch to stop for a picnic lunch and a pint.
We will return past another National Trust property - Ightham Mote - following the Greensand Ridge back to Knole Park and the centre of Sevenoaks where people can have a drink or head back to the station.

Food & drink
Please bring a packed lunch and enough water for the day. We will stop at a pub for a drink halfway through the walk and there will be opportunities to stop for more drinks on our return to Sevenoaks if people want to.
