Hi All,
This will be Jay's assessment walk! I will be keeping by beady eye on him!
Starting and finishing in Thurstaston, this delightful Wirral walk takes us up to Thurstaston Common with its 360 views across the Dee estuary to the hills of Wales. We then continue through Roydon Park with a quick visit to the Roodee Mere, lake before continuing on to Stapledon woods. From here, we make our way up to the Mariner's Beacon before a short decent to Ashton Park and then into the seaside town of West Kirby. We will then go around the marine lake and along Caldy beach, heading back to our start point at the Thurstaston visitor's centre where we have the option of tea and cake at one of the two coffee shops on site.
Total distance is 16Km (9 miles).
There will be some small hills (moderate).
