A lovely and varied 18km flat and circular walk. A semi-rural route starting in Monton in Salford, this day walk follows stretches of the Salford Way including the Bridgewater canal to Astley, we’ll then head across Chat Moss open peat bog. Depending on conditions we might have rolling views as far as Winter Hill. Once across the moss we’ll skirt Barton Aerodrome before linking back-up to the canal for the final stretch on our return to Monton where there will be the opportunity for a pub stop.
