Finding Paradise: Ty Cwch boathouse 3 night adventure

Enjoy this long weekend (three nights!) in a remote idyllic coastal cottage in Pembrokeshire! Our home for three nights is perched right on the cliff face with amazing sea views, glorious sunsets and dark skies perfect for STARGAZING. Just a few minutes you can watch beautiful seals. Common dolphins are also frequently seen from this rugged headland and there are occasional sightings of basking sharks, minke whales and even killer whales. Throw in some optional Rum tasting and you have the makings of a fantastic weekend away from it all!
We have two and a half days to explore the coastline and for relaxing in this hostel. A perfect place to enjoy an autumnal cocktail whilst watching a seascape sunset beyond. The setting of this top class hostel is simply Breathtaking, and with a little 'Nemo' magic, it is sure to be an extra special weekend break for Autumn 2023. We'll be getting out and about exploring and enjoying the company of our fellow OutdoorLads in this magical setting which will undoubtably include some stunning cliff top walks.
The hostel was originally two cottages set at right angles, a strange layout for the location. The building is also set at a right angle to the cliff top creating a triangular space for the hostels.
It was also the first British youth hostel to be established with the help of the National Parks Commission. There was a large refurbishment in 2007 to bring the hostel back to modern expectations. The main change was with an all-weather conservatory replacing the triangular viewing area, making this much more usable year-round.
Unusually for a YHA all of the rooms benefit from ensuite facilities and most of the rooms are smaller rather than dormitory style.
