Relief from Christmas Guff - in the North York Moors

This is an approx 7 miles walk on the northern escarpment of the Cleveland Hills in the North York Moors. Although not long, there will be 4 ascents of some 100-150m each. We will follow part of the Cleveland Way, on very clear paths, with fine views north across the Tees Valley to County Durham, as well as south across the Moors. There's a fantastic tea room about half way. Then we return through forest - so surrounded by Christmas Trees, and maybe, just maybe, a festive covering of snow!
What to bring
Full waterproofs are essential. Plenty of layers as we will be on exposed moorland for most of the walk. Waterproof boots are a must. Hat and gloves highly recommended.
Food & drink
Although we will stop for refreshments, you may want to bring a flask and a snack or two.
