Join me for a Sunday stroll alongside the River Severn in Gloucestershire.

This is a very pretty circular hike in Gloucestershire taking in the Severn estuary, the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, Sharpness docks, Purton Ships Graveyard and the site of the Severn Bridge disaster of 1960.

The walk is 10.5 miles and mostly flat, going across farmland and decent paths. There's the option to cut it short if the weather is bad. We should be able to squeeze in a mid-walk pint if time allows.

Dogs are very welcome on this walk, although will need to be put on leads at times.
