"Manchester's street food offering may have improved immensely recently but Stockport is not playing second fiddle. Foodie Friday is a triumph!" - Not our words, but those of Manchester Evening News.
Stockport Foodie Friday has been taking place for a number of years now, and is a fantastic event a stones throw away from Manchester. It is a family-friendly event featuring street food, craft ales and live music at Stockport Market that happens on the last Friday of every month.
Based around the Victorian Market Hall, Foodie Friday brings a real buzz to Stockport Market as hundreds of people come together for some of the best street food in the North West.

What to bring
- It takes place indoors and outdoors, so dress suitably for this. An umbrella might be handy, depending on the weather.
- A lot of the traders take cards, but not all of them, so it is recommended to bring cash with you. Also advisable to get this somewhere other than an ATM in the vicinity of the market hall as they are very busy.
Food & drink
The whole event is food and drink! There is something for everyone.
