Part 1: OutdoorLads hike with The North Face
Part 2: The North Face interviews OutdoorLads (this event)
Background
The North Face are launching a new Pride campaign and kit range and wants to partner with OutdoorLads to champion the UK part of the project.
The primary message of this campaign is to showcase that "exploration is for all," and OutdoorLads and The North Face will be promoting this throughout Pride Month in June.
An essential element of this campaign will be a film featuring OutdoorLads and several LGBT organisations from across Europe. We need keen OutdoorLads Members to talk about what they do with the group, and how they've benefitted from being a Member.
Your involvement in this project will help deliver a vital diversity message for The North Face and help promote the amazing things we, as OutdoorLads, achieve. You will need to be comfortable talking about yourself and OutdoorLads to camera to be able to come on this event.
What will happen
Although the event will take place in a climbing centre, this is not a climbing event. The climbing centre is just a nicer venue than OutdoorLads HQ! We will meet at the venue in the cafe at reception, and when we're all together we'll head down to the conference room. The guys from The North Face will give us a briefing, about who they would like to chat to and where. Then, all we have to do is follow their lead and talk wonderful things about OutdoorLads and how "exploration is for all!"
The North Face Clothing
The North Face may appreciate their products being warn by members, so please be prepared to swap some of your clothing for any provided to you. There are changing rooms at the venue.
Booking instructions
This event requires more commitment than a typical OutdoorLads walk as preparations will be made for each individual attendee. For this reason, we require attendees to email with their clothing sizes, and we'll be in touch periodically to make sure everybody is still able to attend.
Please email support@outdoorlads.com to confirm your interest in this event, and ensure you're emailing from the email address that your OutdoorLads account is registered with.
In your email, please state your:

Please also let us know of any other information you feel could be useful.

What to bring
Apart from food and drink to see you through (though we shouldn't be there for too long), just bring your lovely, charming self. If you want to climb afterwards, bring your climbing gear and payment for the climbing session.
Food & drink
Please bring a packed lunch and snacks. You can also buy food and drink from the climbing centre cafe.
