Come with us on this ride which was ridden by Mark Beaumont, the world record breaking cyclist in 2016 (It was taken from his Strava routing)
This is a 66 mile (106km) ride with 3316ft (1010m) of total ascent which will give you a challenging ride on quiet back roads. Crieff is almost halfway in this ride - a good stop for lunch too!
The route leaves from Perth and heads up to the base of Creag na Criche before heading down through Glenalmond, the Sma' Glen to Crieff. After that we head back to Perth over flatter countryside... and a pub awaits us there to fill those hungry bellies
The Strava route can be seen here
The GPX route can be downloaded from Strava
So come along and see this attractive part of Perthshire
What to bring
Please bring waterproof clothing as this area can be unpredictable with the weather. Being a remote area, bring cycle repair tools.
Food & drink
There are very few shops on the route except in Perth and Crieff (31 miles into the route) so make sure you bring plenty of food and drink with you.
