6-7 hours of mountain hiking on and off path. 800m of up. Some boggy sections.

This is a wonderful circular walk in the mountains of North Wales from Beddgelert taking in the peaks of Moel Hebog (782m), Moel yr Ogof (655m) and Moel Lefn (638m).  From the tops of these peaks, weather permitting, we can take in views of the Snowdon mastiff and out over the Welsh coast. Our return path to the start point takes us through a forest and alongside the Beddgelert Steam Railway.

This is a substantial mountain walk with a total ascent of 980m, over 14km and should take about 6 to 7 hours.

Some previous hill walking experience is advisable as there are a couple of sections that are very steep with some easy scrambling.  A reasonable level of fitness is required to be comfortable whilst walking.

Dogs are welcome although normal rules apply with them needing to be kept under control or on leads as we will be walking through farmland with livestock.
