February's Munro is Meall Ghaordaidh (pronounced Meall Geur-tay) - meaning The rounded hill of the shoulder.

Lying between Glen Lochay to the south and Glen Lyon to the north, Meall Ghaordaidh (1039m) is a relatively straightforward hill to tick off as a Munro walk, approachable from Glen Lochay by a rough track that ascends its broad grassy south-eastern shoulder. However, much of this is still likely to be above the snow line at this time of year, which should make this a slightly more challenging and exciting walk than it is given credit for. The summit has a large 'windbreak' cairn which should offer us some welcome shelter from any wind, whilst hopefully being rewarded with some fine views towards Loch Lyon to the north and the Lawers range to the east.
