Join Mike for a 6 mile circular walk from Disley train station into Lyme Park - made famous by the BBC Pride and Prejudice - and one of the jewels of the peak district.
We'll pass the Hunting Cage - which commands great views over the Cheshire countryside, then walk through the magnificent parklands, passing Lyme Park House before heading up through Pursefield Wood, following the Gritstone Trail towards Cock Knoll.
Then we'll head towards Bollinhurst Reservoir and back towards Disley for a refreshing pint in the local pub.

What to bring
It might be a bit muddy in places so I would advise walking boots. And a waterproof jacket in case of rain.
Food & drink
Bring a packed lunch and at least 2 litres of water.
