Take a walk through just a small part of Liverpool's green landscape, taking in St James' Gardens nestled under Gile's Gilbert Scott's magnificent cathedral, through Princes Park, whose designer would go on to create New York Central Park. Our walk will take in Sefton Park and the Palm House, across through Otterspool Park and then down along the Promenade back to town.
What to bring
Its a leisure walk but still covers 9.3 miles. Walking shoes or good trainers will be needed. A waterproof jacket will be needed if raining.
Food & drink
Bring a packed Lunch, though we will be stopping for a break outside Sefton Park Café to grab Ice Cream and Coffee.
