Let the fun Be-Gin - Suffolk Camping
11 people attending
1 place left
This event is primarily for attendees of the "Last seaside camping trip of the year" and priority (including moving up to the waiting list) will be given to those also booked onto that event. Should places on this trip remain, we will later open up bookings to others not attending the camp as well.
Many GINiuses have been GINspired by the juniper-flavoured drink to create lifelines to help them GIN and bear the GINsanities of life. OK. I'll stop now. You can have too much of a good thing after all. But you get my drift. Puns about gin abound.
While staying near the beautiful seaside town of Southwold it would be rude not to visit the Adnams distillery. After a guided tour we will have the opportunity to sample some of the finest gin around and will have the chance to stock up to take back to base camp.
This is a ticketed event costing £20 per person. This event is part of the Suffolk camping trip.
Adnams "Our Copper House Distillery sits within the brewery and uses many of the same local ingredients. Discover how we create our range of award-winning spirits from the start of the process in our super-efficient brewery through to distilling and, of course, sampling the finished product. (Not suitable for guests with restricted mobility). You will receive a voucher to claim a complimentary can of Adnams Copper House Gin & tonic from our Southwold stores."
Once the tastings and purchasing are completed, we are in a great location to visit many of the local watering holes.

What to bring
All participants must wear sensible, flat-heeled, fully enclosed shoes. Sorry, no open toes, open sides, sandals, flip flops or pointed heels.
Food & drink
Seeing as there will be Gin tasting I don't recommend arriving with an empty stomach. There are many great places to eat in Southwold or a nice breakfast at camp.
