A nine mile circular walk taking in the Pilgrim's Way, Wealden views from the Kentish North Downs and the village of Hollingbourne.
The walk will take us across open land at the foot of the North Downs, climbing steeply up onto the Downs past the overgrown ramparts of Thurnham Castle. We will then follow the North Downs Way with some of the finest views to be had from this long distance path south across the Kentish Weald. After a pit stop in the pub in Hucking we will walk through the woods of the Hucking estate and then drop down off the Downs back to the village of Hollingbourne. For those that wish there is an opportunity for a celebratory pint in the village pub before heading off.
