Preambulate with Nemo on this beautiful walk through picturesque Shakespeare country: From Henley-In-Arden along the River Alne to the Stratford Canal over Wootten Wawen and Edstone Aquaducts, pausing at the flight of locks in Wilmcote for a spot of lunch.
Then: Towpath Be, Or Not Towpath Be? Homestead to Shakespeare's house for a quick photo opportunity and a cup of tea and a biccy (if he's in) before we head to the station.
This is an easy flat (downhill) walk of about 9 miles, fit for a bard, and returning by hourly train from Stratford-Upon-Avon to Henly-In-Arden.
I to the world am like a drop of water...That in the ocean seeks another drop, Who, falling there to find his fellow forth, Unseen, inquisitive, confounds himself. ― William Shakespeare.
