Glencoe Activity Week 2024 - Book your own accommodation
9 people attending
11 places left
This stunning location is nestled among some of the most famous mountains in Scotland, making it perfect for walking, climbing, and mountain biking enthusiasts. Several lochs and lochans are within walking distance of the campsite, offering serene spots for exploration. A short drive away, you'll find exciting activities such as watersports, ice climbing, as well as iconic sites like Ben Nevis and Glencoe Mountain.
You will need to book your own accommodation for this event, I'll be staying at the Red Squirrel campsite which is centrally located within Glencoe but there are many other options including Airbnb, hostels, hotels, lodges etc.
Be aware this will be a fairly laid back event, evenings we can get together in the Clachaig Inn or around a fire and we'll be communicating via telegram.
Activities at the event will be varied and will depend on the leaders attending, their skill set & weather. Leaders will write their events on a whiteboard during the week, usually the evening before so you'll be able to see meeting times, location and type of event that way. Leaders will decide from day to day and this laid-back approach isn't always a match for members who like to have their week super planned out.

Wash kit: remember to include a towel, shower gel and shampoo
Torch: or easier still, a head torch
Food & drink
There is a pub down the road which serves food and Glencoe Village is only a 5 min drive away. A little further there are other possible places to eat or purchase food from.
