Put these new year resolutions to lose the festive inches and get fitter into action by joining us for this short winter warmer in the delightful Luss Hills!

Starting off on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, our circular walk of approx. 7 miles (11 km) will start of with an ascent of a Graham - Ben Dubh (657m). We'll then continue around the head of Glen Striddle over a number of subsdidiary peaks before descending into Glen Luss and completing the last couple of miles of the walk on a minor tarmac road back to the car park.

The walk should take us no more than four or five hours and is public transport friendly with a number of coach services from Glasgow stopping on the A82 close to the car park. The terrain is relatively straightforward - mostly grassy slopes, but bear in mind at this time of year they could be snow covered and icy underfoot in places, so ensure you have suitable footwear with good grip.

Full details of the proposed walk are on the WalkHighlands website at: -
