Glasgow evening cycle - A pedal and a pint
3 people attending
9 places left
Join us for a pedal and a pint.
Come along and join us on this easy social cycle around the south east of Glasgow.
This event is a great way to meet new people and catch up with friends.
We shall be using cycle paths and quiet roads so the route is suitable for any kind of bike. Some main roads down from Carmunnock, but at Victoria Rd we are back on cycle lanes. This is a relaxed leisure cycle and nobody gets left behind.
Our third event is slightly longer and involves some gentle climbing. We shall head east along the Clyde cycle path and head up to Nerston. Skirting past the north side of East Kilbride will take us to Carmunnock and down to the Clockwork beer garden where we can enjoy a refreshment. From here the group will probably go different ways but I will return to Clydeside with anyone who is not familiar with the area.
I have included a rough Strava route for logged in members.
