Join Andy and OutdoorLads for a gay Saturday stroll in Blackpool!
We will walk along the promenade and take in the sights and sounds of Blackpool, visiting places of interest along the way. We usually stop for refreshments at North Pier, before making our way back to the starting point.
This is a fun day out and we can be flexible in where we go and what we do. We can visit other places that we may wish to see.
There are plenty of car parks in Blackpool, and there is free parking in the streets. A charge applies if you wish to park on the prom. Blackpool North and Blackpool South train stations are easily accessible. There are, of course, the trams which you can use. Alternatively, you may wish to utilise a horse-drawn fairy princess carriage !
Well-behaved, socialised and under-control dogs are welcome on this event.
Dogs must be kept on a lead whenever this is signposted and whenever we are in the vicinity of livestock, and at the event leader's request. It's a good idea to check what the route may be like with the event leader before booking to find out more about the potential suitability of the walk for dogs.
Please also be aware that some establishments may not allow dogs on the premises.
Why not also join us for the 'Blackpool Illuminations Social' on the same evening ? Some of us will be staying over in Blackpool. You can see the event page here...
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.

What to bring
A good pair of trainers should suffice. Please remember it may be windy and wet on occasion on the coast. A good jacket may come in handy.
Food & drink
We will meet at The Velvet Coaster at 12 noon
Some of us will be there from 11 a.m. should you wish to join us for breakfast.
There are plenty of places to buy food. We usually visit a chippy for fish and chips, but feel free to bring a packed lunch. The choice is yours.
